Hardcover, no DJ. Full leather covers, with gilt lettering and designs on the front cover and spine, silk moire endpapers, brown ribbon marker. In near fine condition, very minor bumping of corner, some very minor scuffing of the leather, a slight crease at bottom of front cover. Original magazine advertisement laid in. Deluxe leather-bound edition. Between the 1860s and the 1890s, cowboys rounded up thousands of wild Texas cattle and pushed them north to Kansas railheads. Over 400 exciting photographs and reproductions of famous Western paintings - 200 in color. 432 pages.
