The only complete history of the 7th US Cavalry Regiment - of Little Big Horn fame - from its date of organization in 1866 to inactivation in 1957. Personal eyewitness accounts by former members who fought in the Battle of the Washita, the Battle of Little Big Horn, the Battle of Wounded Knee, and the numerous frontier skirmishes between the 7th Cavalry and the hostile Indians.
