Softcover, saddle-stapled binding. Montana Historical Society, 1966. In very good condition, minor bumping and curling of corners, minor sun-darkening of covers. Wilson served briefly as a civilian volunteer in the forces of General Howard as the Nez Perce sough to escape their tormentors in 1877. Wilson was 23, and he reiterated his conclusions in 1924 before the Tacoma (WA) Research Society and these are reprinted here. Also included is his son's narrative on how his father's views of war influenced his life and military career when he was in Vietnam.
