Hardcover, no DJ as issued. Near fine condition. Lord Beresford was Irish and settled in Texas and Medicine Hat. He brought with him Lady Flo, who was Florida J Wolfe, and not a real lady. This is Southwestern Studies Monograph No. 25, and provides info from the newspaper articles at the time of his death and other historical references to the times and trouble they had, some of it related to the fact that Flo was a negress.
